Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or scheduling role preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer programs.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑service mindset with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Experience with AllScripts PM a plus but not required.
- Bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Verify patient information and update records as needed.
- Coordinate schedules with providers to optimize appointment flow.
- Send appointment reminders and follow up on missed appointments.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with other front‑desk or administrative tasks as needed.
