Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or scheduling role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer programs.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer‑service mindset with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Experience with AllScripts PM a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Verify patient information and update records as needed.
  • Coordinate schedules with providers to optimize appointment flow.
  • Send appointment reminders and follow up on missed appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with other front‑desk or administrative tasks as needed.
